Sonia Gardini, born in Savignano sul Rubicone, lived in Gatteo and Brescia, where she taught literature. She published with Fara Editore the collections Dove allunata (2006) and Haiku (2020, 3rd at the Narrapoetando Prize). In 2021, she won the 1st place at the Narrapoetando Prize with  Il regno di Olinto e altri racconti. She also won the First Prize at the “Rodolfo Valentino - Sogni ad occhi aperti” 2023 competition.
